Frequently Asked Question
Removing Toolbars from Google Chrome
Last Updated 5 years ago
When Google Chrome installs additional toolbars, like the ASK Toolbar, it is not treated as an additional program like many of the browsers do, so you won't be able to see it in the Programs and Features tab in the Control Panel. To remove these toolbars, follow these steps.
1. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the browser
2. Go to settings, then click on the three horizontal lines in the top left corner
3. Select extensions.
4. Find the application you want to remove, and click "Remove"
