Frequently Asked Question

Chrome defaults to saving all files in the Downloads folder. To have it prompt you to choose a location and name the file before saving, follow these instructions:

1. Open Chrome
2. Click on the three dots in the top-right corner (aka "the Hamburger")
3. Click Settings
4. Click Advanced at the bottom of the screen.
5. Under Downloads switch "Ask where to save each file before downloading" to on
6. From hereon out, whenever you go to download a file, a window will pop up asking where you'd like to save the file and what you want to title it.
