Frequently Asked Question

The first thing you'll want to do is make your way over to Beacon Learning and log in. Find your course under "My courses" in the navigation panel at the top left of the page. Once there, you will see the title of the course at the top of the page, with the syllabus and course announcements below it.

The "Course Announcements" section is also known as the "News Forum." It's a place where the instructor can post notes, reminders, and generally whatever they deem necessary for the students of the class to know.

Below the Course Announcements, there are a series of tabs that are designed to streamline your navigation. The first tab is the information you'll need about the course, including instructor information, course introduction video, and more of the class logistics. The following tabs will correspond to the weeks of your classes. Within each week, you will see your list of course assignments, weekly discussion board, and an area to submit your turnitin assignments.
