Tips for Using Excel

In Your Browser:
- To start, create a blank workbook, or use a template
- To share your workbook...
- Click on the Share tab in the top right corner
- Enter the name or email address you want to share it with, and it will send them a link
- Or, you can copy the link and send it in any format you desire
- To save, do nothing! Excel automatically saves your work for you
In the Desktop App
- To start, create a blank workbook, or search to use a template
- To share your workbook...
- Click on the Share tab in the top right corner
- Enter the name or email address you want to share it with, and if you want them to be able to edit, or just view
- Click share and it will send them a link
- To save, press Ctrl + S or click File, then Save
Keyboard Shortcuts (for Windows):
- Undo: Ctrl + Z
- Redo: Ctrl + Y
- Save: Ctrl + S
- Copy: Ctrl + C
- Paste: Ctrl + V
- Move one cell up, down, left, or right: up, down, left, or right key respectively
- Select All: Ctrl + A
- Auto expand cell to fit: Hover over the line between columns and double click
