Adding a Channel for your Course on Stream

  1. Log into your Office 365 account (from here) and connect to the Stream app for videos

2. Once in Stream, click the Playlist to create a playlist

3. Name your playlist and add the description (i.e. FA 2020 BTM 100)

4. Click on Add new item to add the course materials.

5. To share the playlist with students via email,  click on Share next to Add new item and add students emails in the box highlighted below. (get the emails most accurately from J1Web Course Rosters)

6. From the eye icon, you can limit the access of the students.
- Make sure that this is set to can view if you do not want students to edit the videos you uploaded.

7. Remember to add any TAs or additional users who may not be on your course roster

8. The access to the playlist will be sent via email. 

To link this upload option into your Beacon Learning course, copy the URL in the address bar and paste it into your course (I typically use a label). Instruct students to use this link to upload their videos.

Upload your video using the link below. If you have tech failure, submit an IT ticket and forward your receipt to your instructor before the due date.

  1. Click the link above
  2. Make sure you're signed in to your Bushnell account
  3. Click the upload arrow on the top right
  4. Drag your video file to the center area of the page
  5. The upload will begin. While it uploads:
    1. Give it an appropriate & descriptive name
    2. Select the permissions tab
    3. Make sure the box to make the video available to the entire company is unchecked; your class group should be checked to display 

The final step is to click Publish Now when your video is finished!
