Frequently Asked Question

Logging in:

1. Go to JICS 
2. Type in your username and password
3. Navigate the website by using the tabs at the top of the page

Adding a Page and Blog Portlets:

1. Click "Add a Page" on the menu on the left side of the screen
2. Name your page, with your initials at the end
3. Select “Blog” to add a blog portlet to your page
4. Edit your Blog Post in your created page
   1. Click "Add a new post"
   2. Name your blog post in the Headline text box
   3. Add your desired content
   4. Click "Preview" to see what it will look like, and "Save" to actually save the post
5. Add a Free Form Blog Portlet
   1. Click the wrench at the top of your page, and select "Options"
   2. Scroll down and click "Add a new feature to this page"
   3. Scroll down and select "Free Form Content" 
   4. Rename your feature by clicking the name and re-typing your desired name

Edit Page:

1. Change Page Layout
1. Click the wrench, and select "Layout"
2. Select desired layout of page
2. Rearrange Page
   1. Click the wrench, and select "Rearrange"
   2. Drag and drop portlet items
   3. Click "Save Changes"
3. Delete Page: Option 1
1. Click the wrench, and select "Options"
2. Scroll to the bottom, and click "Delete this page"
   
4. Delete Page: Option 2
   1. Click "Context Manager" on the menu on the left side of the screen
   2. Go to the "Pages" tab
   3. Click the subtract button (a red circle with a white line)
   4. Click "Delete"
   5. Click "Save"
