Bushnell.edu Signature Line - Style Guide

Use the following steps to develop your email@bushnell.edu signature line for use with Microsoft Outlook.

Instructions for Creating your Email Signature (Desktop):

  1. Open a new mail message
  2. Select the Insert tab
  3. Select the drop down arrow of the Signature icon, selecting Signatures
  4. Under the section Select Signatures to edit, select Standard
  5. Select the entire signature template, including Bushnell University logo, using the attached Email Signature Template and Guide: copy and paste signature into Microsoft Outlook E-mail Signature ‘Edit’ field
  6. Insert your information into the appropriate fields within the signature template 
  7. Confirm your signature matches the styling details shown below
  8. Click ‘Save’
  9. Choose to use this signature for new messages and replies/forwards

Instructions for Creating your Email Signature (Web):

  1. Click the gear in the upper right corner
  2. Search "Signature"
  3. Select "Email Signature"
  4. Using the attached Email Signature Template and Guide, select the Bushnell University logo by itself: copy and paste photo into the "Edit" field
  5. Select the signature template, not including Bushnell University logo; copy and paste signature into the "Edit" field
  6. Insert your information into the appropriate fields within the signature template
  7. Confirm your signature matches the styling details shown below
  8. Check the desired boxes
  9. Click OK
